Internet of Things is considered to be the most important technology of our times. It is expected that by the year 2020 50 Billion devices across the globe will be connected to the internet and it is expected to be a $19 trillion industry. Home Automation is also getting influenced by IoT. In this race of building such an ecosystem, there is an extremely high demand for engineers to develop such connected systems. In this workshop students will learn about the basic concepts and features of the Internet of Things and build projects utilizing the Arduino platform). They will discover fundamental concepts of cloud computing, sensor reading and connect the Arduino to the internet, wireless interfaces and control things with Android phones.
